Schedule

Day shifts, 4x10 hour schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, including on-call shifts and weekend coverage every six weeks.

Job Description

The CVOR Surgical Technologist will provide high-quality surgical assistance in a cardiovascular operating room setting, focusing on scrub duties and supporting open heart surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures by preparing the operating room and sterile field.
• Handle surgical instruments and supplies, maintaining sterility and organization during surgeries.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Monitor and provide emotional support to patients and their families pre- and post-surgery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of recent CVOR experience, with mandatory scrub and open heart experience.
• Active Ohio license is required prior to submission, compact licenses accepted for specific start dates.
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation.
• One recent reference from a supervisor or manager in the specialty required for submission.
