Job Description

The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic procedures according to department protocols and regulatory standards. They serve as the first point of contact for patients and ensure the effective accomplishment of imaging needs. This role includes participation in performance improvement and quality control activities and is responsible for the processing and transmission of images to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic radiographic procedures following established protocols.
• Act as the primary interface with customers to fulfill their imaging requirements.
• Participate in performance improvement and quality control initiatives.
• Process and transmit images to the PACS.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have current CRT issued by CDPH.
• Fluoroscopy permit from CDPH must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Venipuncture certificate must be obtained within 3 months of hire.
• ARRT-R certification is required.
• Familiarity with state and federal regulations is essential.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certification is mandatory.
• Graduate of an accredited program by JRCERT or ABHES.
• At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred.
• Proficient computer skills.
