7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; 3 12-hour shifts per week, with 2 weekends included in a 4-week schedule.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Neuro Med/Surg unit. The RN will provide attentive and comprehensive care to patients and their families while fostering an environment conducive to healing. Responsibilities include performing patient assessments, prioritizing care, and collaborating effectively with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate nursing care to patients in the Neuro Med/Surg unit.
• Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to develop care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding care and procedures.
• Conduct bedside shift reports and maintain open communication with patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS certification.
• Experience in Med/Surg nursing.
• Ability to start IVs and manage basic wound care.
• Familiarity with maintenance of surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes.
