Schedule

Shifts are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 07:30 to 16:00. Weekend call required every third weekend.

Job Description

As an Interventional Radiology Technician, you will play a critical role in assisting healthcare providers during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The position requires extensive knowledge and practical skills in IR procedures, including scrubbing and circulating duties within the lab.

Responsibilities

• Assist the provider in performing diagnostic/interventional radiology and cardiology procedures.
• Scrub and circulate IR/Cath Lab procedures, ensuring a sterile environment.
• Participate in urgent and emergent cardiology and interventional radiology procedures with a callback time of 30 minutes for STEMIs.
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment with other staff members, including one RN.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in Interventional Radiology.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, ARRT or RCIS.
• IR experience is essential as 90% of cases are IR.
• Must have the ability to perform EKG lead placement.
