Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Travel RN for a position in a Transplant/Stepdown unit. The RN will be responsible for providing quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, focusing primarily on patients who require heparin gtts and PCAs. The ideal candidate will possess significant Med/Surg/Telemetry experience and preferably have a background in stepdown/PCU or solid organ transplant care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care in accordance with established guidelines and protocols.
• Monitor patient conditions and administer prescribed treatments and medications.
• Perform wound/drain care including the management of wound vacs, chest tubes, and JP drains.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort in a stepdown/PCU environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Med/Surg/Telemetry experience.
• Experience with heparin gtts and PCA management.
• Preferred experience in stepdown/PCU and solid organ transplant (kidney, liver, or pancreas).
