Job Description

The Acute Care Nurse will provide critical care to a range of patients, particularly focusing on geriatric and swing bed patients in a 24-bed unit. You will work collaboratively with a dynamic team to ensure patient-centered care that meets the expectations of an affluent community.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with a focus on geriatric and rehabilitation needs.
• Perform advanced wound care and other procedures as required.
• Utilize Cerner for accurate documentation and monitoring of patient health records.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Assist in maintaining a positive unit culture and teamwork.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Experience caring for geriatric patients or previous inpatient rehabilitation experience.
• Advanced skills in wound care.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS and CPI certifications preferred.
