Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description

The Med/Surg Float Pool Registered Nurse will work a minimum of 36 hours per week, specifically three 12-hour night shifts. This role requires flexibility to float between Med/Surg floors at the main hospital and the Ashley River tower, adapting to different patient ratios that may vary depending on the unit assigned.

Responsibilities

• Providing quality patient care to adults in a variety of Med/Surg settings.
• Utilizing skills in IV management, peripheral line care, and non-invasive airway management.
• Adhering to infection control protocols and safety precautions.
• Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including rapid response teams.
• Managing patient assessments, treatments, and care plans effectively.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required.
• Current South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience with a patient ratio of 6:1.
