Job Description

The Mammography Technologist will perform various mammography exams, utilizing advanced imaging techniques and procedures to aid in the diagnosis and early detection of breast diseases in women. The role requires expertise in producing high-quality images of internal body structures and maintaining patient safety through adherence to radiation safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic mammograms, including digital and 3-D mammography.
• Ensure quality control of imaging equipment and operations.
• Maintain patient records accurately using the EPIC charting system.
• Provide exceptional patient care and support throughout imaging procedures.
• Comply with all radiation safety guidelines and universal precautions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS certification.
• ARRT (R) and ARRT (M) certifications are required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in mammography is preferred.
• Experience with Hologic 3D equipment is a plus.
