Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15), including every third weekend.

Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will provide care in a fast-paced Pediatric Critical Care environment, primarily focused on NICU and pediatric patients. This role demands a high level of expertise in respiratory therapy and critical care management.

Responsibilities

• Perform airway management procedures, including intubation assist and extubation.
• Administer various medications via inhalation and manage nebulizer treatments.
• Monitor ventilator settings and adjust strategies based on patient response.
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and neonatal transports.
• Conduct respiratory assessments and interpret results, such as ABGs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• BLS, NRP, PALS certifications required.
• Active North Carolina state license required.
• Previous experience in NICU and pediatric respiratory care is mandatory.
• Experience with ventilator management and emergency department settings is preferred.
