7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (3X12/week, every other weekend, rotation on holidays)

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide leadership in the coordination and delivery of compassionate patient care. Utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, the nurse will provide, delegate, supervise, and document the care and teaching of patients and families. Effective communication of pertinent patient/family information to the health care team is essential, along with participation in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensuring the implementation of those solutions.

Responsibilities

• Formulate effective nursing care plans within the assigned unit/department.
• Perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 3 years of progressive care experience.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
