Job Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role involves providing direct patient care within the scope of practice and directing patient/family teaching along with the activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the ICU.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with physicians about changes in patients' clinical conditions.
• Monitor hemodynamic status, diagnostic study results, and symptomatology.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition and response to treatment.
• Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current and valid state RN License
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• A minimum of one year as a staff RN in an acute care hospital, specifically in critical care.
• Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred
• COVID vaccination/boosters preferred
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
