Schedule

Days: Monday-Thursday, 8 AM - 6 PM; Friday, 8 AM - 12 PM; On-call required one Saturday per month.

Job Description

The Travel Physical Therapist will provide care to patients in an outpatient clinic setting. The role includes examining and developing treatment plans to reduce pain, restore mobility, and prevent disability. This position requires both inpatient and outpatient experience, with a more pressing need for inpatient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess individual patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Utilize treatment techniques to enhance mobility and manage pain effectively.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Provide education on fitness and wellness programs to patients.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in physical therapy, with both inpatient and outpatient experience required.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Mexico or proof of pending NM state licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Successful completion of fingerprinting requirements for New Mexico travelers.
