Job Description

The Level 2 RN will be responsible for patient assessment, care planning, medication administration, and collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality, compassionate care in the Med-Surg unit. The nurse will manage patients' needs during their hospitalization, focusing on their recovery, education, and overall well-being.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and psychological health.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans collaboratively.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately.
• Monitor patient progress and document all assessments and interventions.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver holistic patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on managing health conditions and recovery.
• Ensure patient safety and compliance with infection control protocols.
• Recognize and respond to emergencies, providing immediate care as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Med-Surg experience required.
• Current unencumbered Ohio nursing license.
• BLS certification required.
