Physical Therapist

Job Description

This is a 13-week contract position. The Physical Therapist provides treatment to patients with physical dysfunctions, educates patients and their families about the role of physical therapy, and communicates effectively with physicians and ancillary staff regarding patient care.

Responsibilities

• Administer physical therapy treatment to patients with various physical dysfunctions.
• Educate patients, families, and staff about the role and benefits of physical therapy.
• Coordinate and communicate with physicians and ancillary staff to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1-3 years of physical therapy experience, preferably in an acute care setting.
• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey.
• Current CPR certification.

Schedule

• 8 hour day shifts.
