Job Description

We are seeking a Registered Mammographer with experience in 3D Tomosynthesis and preferably familiar with Hologic Mammography equipment. The ideal candidate will perform comprehensive breast examinations and educate patients on self-examination techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography procedures to ensure optimal diagnostic quality.
• Prepare patients for procedures and ensure their comfort and safety.
• Communicate clearly with patients about procedures to alleviate fears and encourage cooperation.
• Document patient history and pertinent findings in the electronic record.
• Conduct equipment quality control procedures to maintain standards.
• Provide individualized breast self-examination instructions and discuss annual clinical examination importance.
• Ensure proper patient identification using two identifiers and adhere to universal protocol.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with Mammography certification.
• Experience with 3D Tomosynthesis and Hologic Mammography equipment preferred.
• Strong skills in radioactive material safety.
