Shift: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled nursing professional for our Critical Care Pre-Op unit. The ideal candidate will possess excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently in a high-acuity environment. This role involves providing exceptional care for patients preparing for surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform critical care tasks including large-bore IV starts and skin assessments.
• Assist with Arterial line, Central line, and Epidural placements.
• Transport patients to the OR and assist with induction/intubation, positioning, and skin preparation.
• Maintain excellent documentation and communication with interdepartmental teams.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Certification in BLS is mandatory.
• Critical Care nursing experience is required; Pre-Operative experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with BCMA and Cerner documentation systems preferred.
