Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Special Procedures Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for scrubbing and circulating various interventional procedures in a sterile environment. The position requires proficiency in operating the necessary equipment and familiarity with a range of interventional studies.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate a variety of interventional radiology procedures.
• Operate imaging equipment and ensure patient safety before, during, and after procedures.
• Assist with guidewire and catheter exchanges in a sterile environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area, following sterile procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Technologist (R.T.(R)(ARRT))
• Texas Medical Board - Medical Radiologic Technologist (TMB-MRT)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience in an Interventional Lab setting
• Strong interventional radiology background with familiarity in performing dialysis catheter placements, angioplasty, and other interventional procedures.
• Preferred certifications include Vascular Interventional Registry or Cardiovascular Registry.
