Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) for our 8S Oncology unit. The unit has 21 beds with a current census of about 8-12 patients. Our team fosters a supportive environment with a focus on patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Monitors patient conditions and administers medications through Baxter pumps
• Performs necessary procedures, including replacing blood and electrolytes
• Ensures compliance with unit policies, including neutropenic precautions and dressing changes
• Maintains accurate documentation in the Meditech EMR system

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Oncology nursing experience is a must
• Chemotherapy certification is preferred
