Travel RN - CVICU - Night Shift

Job Description

The CVICU specializes in providing intensive care for patients with cardiovascular conditions. The unit consists of 16 beds and is staffed with a team of 45 registered nurses, featuring a 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio on both day and night shifts. The night shift is supported by 1 Clinical Nurse Coordinator and provides comprehensive care for critically ill patients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hemodynamic monitoring and manage advanced cardiac equipment
• Administer care for patients with chest tubes, art lines, and Swan Ganz catheters
• Provide ventilator support and monitor critically ill patients
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal patient care

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of critical care experience (adult ICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU, or any critical care specialty)
• Ventilator experience and skills in managing art lines, central lines, and chest tubes
• Preferred: CVICU specific experience, CABG recovery, CRRT, Impella management
• Must hold a current RN license
