CT Technologist - Full-Time Days with Call Rotation

Job Description

Under the direct supervision of the Imaging Director and under the guidance of the radiologist, the CT Technologist performs radiographic procedures to assist in the diagnosis of diseases and injuries. The technologist collaborates effectively with patients and their families and consults with other departments as needed for improved patient care and performance activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic procedures to assist in medical diagnoses.
• Manage time effectively while maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
• Practice confidentiality and treat all individuals with respect and professional courtesy.
• Support the mission and vision of the organization.
• Adhere to infection control, fire and safety, disaster, and hazardous waste policies.
• Accept and provide constructive feedback; demonstrate teamwork.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduation from an approved school of radiology technology.
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Licensed by the State Department of Health.
• Flexibility to work overtime and on-call duty as needed.
• Understand age-related developmental issues of pediatrics and geriatrics.
• Maintain continuing education credits as required by the ARRT.
• Current BLS certification.
