Job Description

The Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to individuals of all ages and their families, requiring professional knowledge and consideration for specific patient conditions and treatments. The Clinical Nurse works independently, adhering to physician's orders, nursing policies and procedures, and hospital protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of nursing care procedures per established standards.
• Support individuals and their families through various healthcare processes.
• Collaborate with medical staff in delivering patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• A valid, current, full, and unrestricted Professional Nursing License to practice in any U.S. state or territory.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association.
• Complete Pediatric Trauma Care After Resuscitation (P-CAR) within 6 months of hire.
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) must be completed within 6 months of hire.
