Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Med/Tele Nurse to provide care in a 32-bed Surgical ACE unit. The patient population will include adults and older adults, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5. The nurse will manage trauma patients, administer Heparin drips, and all acute medications as ordered. Experience with EPIC EMR is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse adult and older adult patient population.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Utilize specialty equipment including gait belts, geriatric chairs, and PT equipment.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the EPIC EMR system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have documented experience in Medical/Surgical and Telemetry nursing.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• NICHE training and experience in Skilled Nursing/Rehab are a plus.
