Certified Surgical Technologist - Open Heart

Schedule

This position requires working from 06:30 AM to 03:00 PM, with on-call requirements during the week (typically 2 days) and weekends (every 2nd to 3rd weekend). One On Call Holiday may be applicable.

Job Description

We are seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist with Open Heart experience to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary skills and qualifications to assist in surgical operations while ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and maintaining the sterile field during surgical procedures.
• Prepare and pass instruments and supplies to the surgical team.
• Monitor and maintain sterile techniques throughout the surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons and other medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in post-operative care and organize surgical instruments for sterilization.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must be a Certified Surgical Technologist.
• Open Heart surgical experience is required.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• All required immunizations and health screenings must be up to date.
