Physical Therapist - Inpatient Care

Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm or 9am - 5pm

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have experience in working in a large acute care facility and be a team player who will provide exceptional care to our patients.

Responsibilities

• Patient evaluation and establishing plans of care and treatment programs.
• Providing interventions and patient/family education.
• Documenting interventions and billing appropriately.
• Supporting Lead Clinicians in competency development and implementation.
• Participating in the orientation of new staff members.
• Serving as a clinical instructor for students.
• Exercising independent judgement of moderately complex cases with minimal to no supervision.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• New Jersey License to practice Physical Therapy.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy academic program.
• 0-4 years of experience as a Physical Therapist is strongly preferred.
• Experience in Acute Care in a large academic medical setting is preferred.
• Preference given to candidates with Board Certification as a Specialist suitable for care in an acute care setting.
• Preference for candidates with high-acuity experience, particularly in ICU, Step-Down, or Cardiac units.
