3x12 Hour Shifts, Days, from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Candidates must be available every other weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking a MedSurg RN specializing in Renal care. The role entails providing high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a medical-surgical unit. The ideal candidate must possess strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in accordance with established medical standards.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, particularly for renal failure patients.
• Administer medications and start/maintain IVs as necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary support staff including IV Teams, Respiratory Services, and others.
• Participate in emergency response situations as part of the rapid response team.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in MedSurg nursing.
• South Carolina RN License or Compact license must be in hand prior to start.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
