Job Description

The Vascular and Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist supports the mission and vision of the organization through behaviors that reflect and integrate core values. This role involves performing specific special procedures, including vascular and cardiovascular procedures, and establishing quality diagnostic studies.

Responsibilities

• Perform specific special procedures and vascular and cardiovascular examinations.
• Ensure the quality and continuity of patient care during special procedure examinations.
• Contribute to the efficient operation of the department and assist in implementing patient care plans.
• Demonstrate commitment to professional growth and competence.
• Maintain dependability in job performance to enhance department operations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Associates degree in Radiology Technology or completion of a JRCERT Accredited Radiography Program - REQUIRED
• ARRT Registered - REQUIRED
• BLS Certification - REQUIRED
• ACLS Certification within one (1) year of hire - REQUIRED
• One (1) year of Vascular and Cardiac Cath Lab or Special Procedures experience - PREFERRED
• Michigan license verification is required for nurses.
