Shifts are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with rotating weekends at least once a month.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist for our inpatient rehabilitation unit. The unit has a focus on stroke rehabilitation and accommodates a diverse caseload that includes various diagnoses. The ideal candidate will work alongside a motivated team, using advanced technologies to enhance patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to a caseload of 4-5 patients per therapist.
• Utilize specialized equipment, including Hoyer and Sara lifts, as well as other ceiling lift systems.
• Document and track patient progress using the Meditech Expanse system.
• Engage in neuro rehabilitation practices with a focus on advanced technologies such as Bioness and RT300 FES bikes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Previous experience in inpatient rehabilitation, specifically stroke rehab, is preferred.
• No specific certifications required.
• Must be able to dress in a uniform consisting of black scrub pants and a royal blue top.
