3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with on-call requirements including call every 3rd to 4th weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our dedicated surgical team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong skill set across various surgical specialties, including general, neuro, ortho, ENT, and GYN. This role is critical to providing high-quality care to surgical patients within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
• Assist with patient assessments, plan and implement care strategies.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and communicate effectively with patients and families.
• Maintain a sterile surgical environment and manage surgical instruments.
• Participate in on-call rotation as required by the facility.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in an acute care operating room setting.
• Active South Carolina RN license or multi-state/compact RN license.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience as a first-time traveler is accepted with a broad scope of specialty competency.
