MedSurg RN - Night Shift

Night shift, 4x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) with every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced MedSurg RN to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients in a medical-surgical unit. This role may require floating to similar units as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients on a medical-surgical unit.
• Monitor and manage patient conditions, including telemetry patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Participate in rapid response and code blue situations as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Two years of MedSurg RN experience preferred.
• Current South Carolina RN license or Compact license in hand prior to start.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS and NIHSS certifications preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
• Knowledge of telemetry, insulin management, and wound care is essential.
