Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced medical environment. This role involves working with a diverse patient population, including neonates to adults, and requires flexibility in scheduling and the ability to float to various units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy to patients of all ages, from neonates to adults.
• Utilize respiratory equipment and ensure the maintenance of high standards of care.
• Administer treatments as ordered by physicians, documenting appropriately in the electronic medical record.
• Be prepared to float to nursery and emergency rooms to support patient care as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• 1 year of experience in a specialty area, with a preference for neonatal/pediatric experience.
• Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and NRP.
• EPIC experience within the past 2 years is mandatory.
• Reliable transportation is required as public transportation is not available in the area.
