5x8 hour shifts, Monday to Friday, from 08:30 to 17:00.

Job Description

An Electrophysiology RN is needed to cover a Leave of Absence. The ideal candidate will possess experience in an EP Lab or outpatient clinic, with a strong background in cardiology.

Responsibilities

• Perform Pacemaker and Defibrillator lead extraction/removal.
• Assist with Watchman procedures and arrhythmia induction.
• Conduct cardiac ablation and mapping, as well as cardioversion and conduction studies.
• Insert and program AICDs and perform Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) closure.
• Manage antiarrhythmics and antihypertensives.
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of experience in Electrophysiology or outpatient cardiology.
• Current WA RN license or COMPACT license.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is required.
• Strong skills in patient education, particularly regarding lifestyle and medication adherence.
