12-hour night shifts are available, with weekend requirements of every other weekend.

Job Description

Seeking a Registered Nurse for a Med Surg Telemetry unit. The nurse will have assignments across multiple units (R5, R6, R7) and be responsible for providing care to various patient populations, including Med Surg Oncology, Ortho, and Urology patients. This role may involve working with ED HOLD patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care and ensure smooth operation within assigned units.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions and care plans.
• Perform required documentation accurately using the EPIC system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience, specifically in Med Surg or Telemetry.
• AHA BLS certification is required; CMSRN certification is preferred.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required prior to starting.
• EPIC experience from within the past 2 years is required and non-negotiable.
