Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The RN will provide care for patients requiring monitoring and treatment for various acute conditions. Responsibilities include administering medications, collaborating with a healthcare team, and ensuring patient outcomes are met.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions, providing critical care as needed.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy.
• Utilize telemetry for cardiac monitoring.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EPIC).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in a progressive care or telemetry setting.
• Current New York State RN license must be active and on file.
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required prior to start.
• Experience with tele monitoring is essential, alongside previous Epic experience within the last two years.
