X-Ray Technician – PM Overnight Position

Job Description

The X-Ray Technician will perform and provide appropriate imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines. Responsibilities include maintaining all equipment for procedures, assessing safety and comfort of the patient, and coordinating daily imaging procedures. This position does not require on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging and treatment processes in line with established guidelines.
• Maintain and assess equipment for procedures.
• Monitor safety and comfort of patients throughout imaging procedures.
• Coordinate daily imaging procedures and monitor the need for revisions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Schedule

This position operates overnight from 6 PM to 7 AM on a rotating 7-week schedule.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1-3 years of experience as an X-Ray Technician.
• Graduate of an accredited radiography school.
• Current New Jersey State RT License.
• ARRT certified.
• BLS certified.
• Demonstrated knowledge of various imaging equipment and associated technologies.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
