Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

Night shift; 4x12 hours (18:45 - 07:15), weekdays with every other weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse to provide top-quality patient care in a 70-bed rural facility. This role requires knowledge in acute care and telemetry nursing and the ability to care for pediatric and adolescent patients. The RN may float to other units, including ICU, to meet patient care needs. A house supervisor will be available for support around the clock.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients in acute care settings with a focus on telemetry.
• Provide care for a patient ratio of 1:5.
• Float to other units as necessary to support overall patient care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapy and respiratory services.
• Perform emergency response duties as needed, including use of Rapid Response/Code teams.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of experience as an RN in a telemetry or acute care setting.
• Current RN license in West Virginia or compact license.
• Required certifications: BCLS, ACLS; PALS preferred.
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias.
