Cath Lab Technologist - 13-Week Contract Position

Schedule

11:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 5 days a week. On-call required during evenings and every other weekend.

Job Description

The Cath Lab Technologist will be responsible for conducting various cardiac procedures and interventions within a dynamic environment that emphasizes teamwork and patient care. With a focus on critical thinking and compassion, the technologist will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes for patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac catheterizations and related interventional procedures.
• Utilize equipment such as MacLab, GE, and Philips for diagnostics and treatment.
• Follow protocols to ensure patient safety and procedural accuracy.
• Document and manage patient information using the Meditech system.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide high levels of care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Certification as a Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) or Radiology Tech.
• Previous experience in a Cath Lab environment is preferred.
