Job Description

The Cardiac Cath Lab Technician is responsible for providing skilled cardiovascular technical support during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in handling Cath Lab equipment and ensure optimal patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac catheterization procedures, electrophysiology studies, and interventional radiology procedures.
• Ensure that all Cath Lab equipment and supplies are maintained and prepared for daily use.
• Notify the Program Manager of any instances where a match is declined or rejected.
• Function independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Cardiovascular Laboratory Technician (CVL Tech) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• BLS certification.
• Experience in cardiac catheterization is required; electrophysiology experience is preferred.
• Additional certifications such as CVT, RCIS, or RT are highly desirable.
