Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse (CVOR RN) with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the operating room setting. This includes recent experience and a high level of competency in cardiovascular and open heart procedures. The ideal candidate will be flexible with their schedule to meet the dynamic needs of the unit and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Circulate in various operating room suites as required; may include general, ortho, neuro, ENT, etc.
• Support patient care and unit needs in a busy, academic hospital environment.
• Participate in on-call duties, ensuring availability during scheduled shifts and as needed.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a valid BLS certification; CNOR certification preferred.
• Epic experience within the past 2 years is required.
• Prior travel nursing experience is required.
• Must have experience in a large (500+ beds), academic teaching hospital.
• Ability to manage patient care in a high-stress environment effectively.
