3x12 hour night shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including every other weekend and holiday rotation.

Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with experience in pediatrics, neonates, and infants to provide excellent respiratory care in a teaching hospital setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering respiratory therapy and assisting in the care of pediatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and interventions to pediatric patients.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, adjusting therapies as necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in the management of respiratory care.
• Utilize clinical judgment and knowledge to effectively respond to patient needs.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of experience in pediatric, neonate, and infant care.
• Current RRT certification, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications are required.
• South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider license must be active prior to start date.
• Epic charting system experience is preferred.
