Will work 3x12 nights from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with weekend rotation required every other weekend.

Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist specializing in Pediatrics is responsible for providing respiratory care to infants, children, and adolescents. This position requires collaboration with healthcare team members to deliver optimal patient outcomes in a pediatric setting.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and interventions to pediatric patients.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments as necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families on managing respiratory conditions.
• Utilize electronic charting systems, preferably Epic, for documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of pediatric, neonate, and infant respiratory therapy experience.
• Valid RRT certification and South Carolina RCP license required upon start.
• Current BLS and PALS certifications are mandatory.
• Experience with bronchoscopy, extubation, NICU, and pediatric critical care preferred.
