Job Description

The Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will provide respiratory care services to patients in the acute care hospital setting. This role requires a commitment to excellence and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory care treatments and procedures as prescribed.
• Monitor patients’ responses to therapy and adjust treatment accordingly.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to optimize patient care.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care procedures and equipment.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adherence to protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess a valid and active RRT license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications required.
• A minimum of 1 year of acute care hospital experience is required.
• Must have a permanent address located more than 50 miles from the facility.
• Willingness to work every other weekend is essential.
