Job Description

Seeking an experienced CVICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to post-operative cardiac surgery patients. The unit specializes in immediate post-operative care, utilizing advanced technology and equipment for cardiac care.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to immediate post-operative cardiac surgery patients, including those on ECMO, Centrimags, and HM3 LVADS.
• Monitor hemodynamics and operate advanced cardiac equipment such as PA catheters and IABP.
• Perform critical nursing procedures, including central line insertion and intubations.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to exceptional patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Strong critical care experience, including CVICU experience.
• Advanced skills in hemodynamic monitoring.
• Experience with IABP, Impella, and CRRT preferred.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS required.
