Schedule

12-hour shifts, 3-12 hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, with one night of on-call per week and one weekend of 7 AM to 7 PM Saturday & Sunday per month.

Job Description

As a Registered Nurse in Surgical Services, you will be part of a dynamic team providing care for a wide range of surgical procedures including general elective surgeries and critical procedures. Your expertise in various specialties is essential for delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures.
• Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
• Educate patients and their families about post-operative care.
• Participate in on-call rotations as scheduled.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in surgical nursing.
• Experience in ortho, neuro, general, robotic surgery, urology, GYN, and endovascular/vascular nursing is required.
• ENT experience is preferred.
• Current Michigan RN license verification required.
• BLS certification (AHA) is required.
