5x8 Hour Shift (07:00 - 15:00), Monday to Friday. Every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified LPN to join our Medical Surgical team. The ideal candidate will have recent acute care experience and be capable of taking their own patient assignment with the support of an RN. Your role will be vital in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor vital signs and perform pain assessments.
• Administer medications through various routes, including oral, IM, SQ, and IV therapy.
• Conduct intake/output monitoring and specimen labeling.
• Manage feeding tubes and oxygen administration via nasal cannula.
• Provide wound care and perform catheter insertion (male/female).
• Communicate patient status changes to RN/MD promptly.
• Utilize EPIC for charting and documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active New York Single State LPN license (no pending license accepted).
• BLS certification required.
• Must have acute care experience within the last 2 years.
• EPIC charting experience is required.
