Day shift: 3x12-hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:00 with every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with a strong background in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing. The ideal candidate will possess a New York State nursing license and have experience in the care of patients with cardiac conditions, including post-PCI, pacemakers, AICDs, and post-MI care. Nurses will be responsible for patient monitoring, care management, and proactive response to emergencies utilizing Rapid Response and Code teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 26-bed Med/Surg unit with a patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:7.
• Conduct cardiac monitoring and interpret dysrhythmias.
• Administer IV therapy and manage peripheral line care.
• Utilize isolation precautions and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in Med/Surg and Tele units.
• BLS certification is required.
• New York State RN license in hand is mandatory.
• Previous Charge Experience is required.
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system is essential.
