Orthopedic and Neuro Operating Room RN - 13 Week Contract

Schedule

Varied schedule with weekend and weekday call: 4x10s every 4-5th weekend on call and 1 week night a week of on call.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Operating Room Registered Nurse with experience in Orthopedics and Neurosurgery (Level 1 or 2 experience). The ideal candidate must be proficient in providing care in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the administration of anesthesia and monitor patients during surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal surgical outcomes.
• Perform necessary pre-operative and post-operative assessments.
• Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room.
• Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and recovery.

Required Experience

• Must have Orthopedic and Neurosurgery Operating Room experience.
• Experience in a Level 1 or 2 trauma facility is preferred.
