Job Description

The Operating Room of Surgery provides intraoperative care to surgical and procedural sedation patients, catering to a diverse patient population including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and the elderly. The team works with a variety of provider specialties to ensure optimal care for patients being discharged the same day or admitted to the hospital.

Responsibilities

• Provide intraoperative nursing care to surgical patients in the Operating Room.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to deliver seamless care.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and respond to medical needs during procedures.
• Assist in preparing the operating room and ensuring a sterile environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission.
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification required.
• One (1) year recent perioperative nursing and operating room experience required.
