Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. This high-paced, high-acuity environment serves a diverse patient population and requires a dedicated individual capable of managing critical situations effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in a high-acuity emergency department.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Handle various patient cases, including trauma, stroke, sepsis, and STEMI.
• Administer medication and treatments as prescribed.
• Participate in departmental meetings and continuous education.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an emergency department setting.
• Required skills include peripheral IV insertion, and experience with stroke and sepsis protocols.
• Must be willing to work 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week period.
