Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Job Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice while directing and guiding patient/family teaching and nursing personnel activities. Maintains standards of care in the ICU and is accountable for the care given to assigned patients.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with the physician about changes in the patient's clinical condition, including hemodynamic monitoring and abnormal results.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current and valid state RN License
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care
• Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred
• COVID vaccination/boosters preferred
• MEPIC EMR experience required
