Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Job Description

The Surgical Progressive Care Unit is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for night shifts. The ideal candidates will work in a dynamic environment, caring for post-surgical patients and those requiring neuro care and other specialized treatments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Q4 full assessments and vital sign monitoring
• Ambulate post-surgical patients
• Implement NIH stroke care and CIWA protocols
• Manage labs and cardiac monitoring
• Administer electrolyte replacements and medications as needed

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ACLS and BLS certification required
• Experience with IVs, phlebotomy, NGT, trach, CPAP, and non-titratable drips (except heparin)
• Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to changing situations
• Preferred: Cardiac and neuro care experience
